This party was three years back but I'm still posting it since I didn't really got the chance to officially thank my suppliers (though I recommended them to a lot of my friends). We chose Kung Fu Panda because it was the most recent hit back then and how can you not fall in love with Po? The most adorable, funniest and plush bear ever! Here goes the details of the party as well as all our Suppliers. You can click on the Suppliers name as most of them are hyperlink on the website/FB Page in case your interested in their services. Photographer: Ken Lotilla Invitation Card: Norman (hubby) Sam's Po Costume: Amazon.com Chinese Temple Arc inspired Balloon entrance with Po and Sam (in Po Costume) Welcome Standee Bright Red, Orange, Yellow and Green Balloon Ceiling drop with hanging Chinese ornaments and lanterns I bought from Singapore. Tall centerpieces with Kung Fu Panda mylar balloon as topper. Also added KFP origami characters I made months before the event. Found this DIY KFP Printable in Snapfish.com which is a HP hosted site. I must admit it took me close to 3 months to build the entire army (45 pieces) but they all turned out to be so cute so no regrets at all. The kids also brought them home thinking they were souvenirs. Super adored this cake. This was one of my deciding factor in choosing the KFP theme. Ms. Veron of Les Sucreries initially didn't want to accept our payment because we booked too early but I decided to wait for her as I didn't want my cake any other way. 2 months later, she accepted our order and I couldn't be happier with the result. Kudos to PartyBooster for even making it standout with the fabulous Cake Arc and Balloon Pillar. Ms. Lou from Chow Unlimited (I hope I got her name right) is nothing but friendly and accommodating. I was a bit hesitant in having them as the caterer because they are the mandatory caterer if you opt to go with Prestige Tower as the venue. But after the food tasting (which was 3 days before the actual party), I was at ease. Not only did the food tasted great but I love the overall service they provide. I immediately felt closer to Ms. Lou, it's as if I'm talking to my mom. She said yes on my every request, even recommended for us to buy extra drinks outside so it would be free flow of drinks for the guest. We added 2 extra dish cooked by my mom, bought lechon from Elar's and served Jollibee Kiddie meal for the kids instead of getting their kiddie package and not a single corkage fee was added to my bill. Overall, the guest loved the food and there was enough for everyone to enjoy. I also added 2 Food booths, NYFD and Hotdogs on stick plus Nestle ice cream cart which they can avail by presenting a coupon given to them during the start of the party. For the party host, I initially wanted Flooch because I read a lot of good reviews about him, but he's not available that day so Jacque recommended Symond. Now looking back, I am very happy she did because he turned out to be really really good. He came in fully prepared, change costumes in between segments to add more drama. Really entertaining and took care of the entire program. Very talented too, as he did Balloon Sculpting, Puppet show and performed some magic tricks. Made the games much more interesting and very sharp as he customized the games based on the audience participation and prizes available. All the guest, kids and oldies alike were all tuned in whenever he's in the stage. Came prepared with his own assistant, pipeline music and brought his own mixer and speakers. I was really sad because I didn't bring enough cash to tip him generously. My best friend and I went to Divisoria to buy giveaways and candies. I got reminded how this place is heaven sent for budgetarian moms like me, it has everything you need at a very reasonable price. I had a custom made wooden kiddie stools for giveaways as I wanted something unique and functional. My husband and I were really shock when we saw it for the first time as they were really tiny. The size was literally for kids but it was very sturdy with good finishing. In the end, the size was perfect because the kids were able to bring it without any hassle. We also had Photo Booth and Face paint as additional activities for guest to enjoy. Overall, we received very good feedback. The guest enjoyed the party very much. A lot of people were asking about my Suppliers.
And I have to commend Jacque from Party Boosters for making this an effortless event on my part. We had close to 160 visitors but this turned out to be the easiest party I had to organize by far. Despite the fact that all arrangements were just only through email as our family is based in Singapore. She's very easy to work with. Respond on time, work with in your budget, gives honest feedback and literally takes care of everything. We felt so at ease that everything's under control, we ended up being late on our own party. But as expected, all the guest were already nicely seated, set up is perfect and even the Jollibee delivery has already been paid for (who else but the ever dependable Jaque?). She's really the best event organizer you could ever have.

Hi! Thank you for this! This made everything easy for me to plan my son's first bday party on Decemeber. May I ask where you got the Po costume for him?
