Garden Prenup shoot

A few years ago, a friend of ours asked our help to do a simple Prenup shoot for their friend. I immediately said yes without even consulting my Photographer hubby. I can't help it, projects like this excite me the most. The couple were quite young and also good looking which added more to the excitement so before I knew it, I was already happily browsing Pinterest for inspiration, make up and outfit ideas.

Chinese Garden is picturesque. It has various sceneries and infrastrucure so we made sure to take advantage of it all. We moved around and shoot on several locations doing various poses, using different props.

At first, we did the more serious poses, I asked the couple to just act naturally and do sweet stuff together. Like holding each other hands, gazing at each other, leaning close while looking far away imagining their future together.

Then we moved to the casual, fun part of the shoot. The couple changed outfit and we explored the place and decided to shoot at the Pagoda, the bench chair in the park and the boardwalk.

The couple was so happy with the result of their shoot and immediately shared it on Facebook where a lot of their friends showed delight and appreciation to their photos. After a few years of getting married, they now have cute little bundle of joy. 

The thing I really like about Prenup shoots is the opportunity to be part of something wonderful, like the shoot before their big day. It's also fun to witness those cute, sweet moments of the couple.
